Sara officiated our interfaith wedding on January 25th 2014 together with Referent Debra Viola. This was by far the most beautiful, meaningful and heartwarming ceremony I have ever heard – luckily it was my own wedding. The ceremony reflected us as a couple very much and we remember that day so fondly. Other guest later came to us saying how deep and beautiful the content of what was said at the ceremony was. Sara choose beautiful passages from the Torah and sang beautiful what made it particularly ceremonial. She is in addition such a kind and very warm person and you feel instantly connected. You will not find a better rabbi than Rabbi Sara. While wedding planning can sometimes be hectic, she was incredibly flexible and made this the easiest part of the wedding. We met at her office and immediately knew we wanted her as our officiant. A short time later, she emailed us a draft of the wedding and allowed us to make as many changes as we wanted. However, we did not need to personalize it any more as her words touched us. Our family and friends were highly impressed and commented to us on how amazing and personal our ceremony was. She made our wedding even more special.

Sara officiated our May 2015 wedding and was just so wonderful to work with. We were looking for an interfaith officiant who would help create a ceremony that reflected our individual personalities. Sara gave us that and so much more! She truly cared about us, our relationship, and our story. All of that was reflected in the ceremony.

Here’s a bit about Sara’s process (one of the many things that makes her a great officiant):
Sara’s process makes the ceremony planning very simple. We contacted Sara on a recommendation via email. We met once at her office and she asked us questions about how we met, what we were looking for in our ceremony, and whether we wanted to include certain ideas (i.e. lighting a memorial candle, writing our own vows, etc). After that we did our “homework” and she sent us a draft copy of our ceremony via email. We exchanged emails until we were happy with the outline.

On our wedding day Sara arrived before the ceremony to greet us, perform a quick rehearsal, and sign our marriage license. Come ceremony time we were relaxed and confident that everything would be perfect. It was the best day ever, thanks in part to Sara. Thanks for making it so memorable!
